2008 NEWS
On February 7, 2008, Flash (AKC/UKC/CKC CH Jangio's Lightning Bug, RN) practiced for Westminster by going Best of Breed at the Big Apple Sporting Dog Show.
On February February 12, 2008, Flash (AKC/UKC/CKC CH Jangio's Lightning Bug, RN), earned the First Award of Merit at the Westminster KC Show. We are so thrilled with Flash's accomplishments over the last two years, and happy that his new career, of doing fun things like field and obedience, is now beginning.
On February 19, 2008, we welcomed nine beautiful, black puppies (6 boys, 3 girls) to our home. Mother is Magda (AKC/CKC CH Cobbossee's Magda Worden) and Flash (AKC/UKC/CKC CH Jangio's Lightning Bug, RN). Please check out our Litter Page at: Litter #6.
At the Evansville KC Show, on March 15, 2008, Sal (UKC CH Laketower Laff In The Dark, CGC, TDI) earned a five point major under Judge Houston Clark. Way to go Sal and congratulations to her owner/handler, Sue Davis!!

At the Delaware County KC Show, on March 16, 2008, Bright (Laketower Light Bright t'Jangio) was BW/WD for one point under Judge Dana Cline!

At the Harrisburg KC Show on April 12, 2008, Bright (Laketower Light Bright t'Jangio) was WD and BOW for a three point major under Judge Tomas Gomez.
At the Mason Dixon KC Show on April 13, 2008, Callie (Jangio's Calla Lily) was WB and BOW for two points. The judge was Honey Anne Glendinning. Callie was bred by Jane Anderson and Kelly. Congratulations to her owner, Maureen Mount!!!

On May 4, 2008, at the York County Kennel Club of Maine, Grace (CH Laketower Light The Way Grace, WC) earned a Group Three under Judge Donna Buxton. Congratulations to Grace and her owner, Susanne Bedard!!!

On May 8, 2008, CH Laketower Giant Jet Blitz, RN, CGC, earned his second Rally Advanced leg. Congratulations to Maureen & Bailey!!!
On May 8, 2008, Laketower Laff in the Dark, CGC, TDI, earned her Rally Novice title! Congratulations to Sue and Sal!!!

On May 8, 2008, our Ralph (CH Bayview's Ralph, JH, WC, CGC) was second in the 10-13 Veterans Class in Sweepstakes. Our daughter, Libby, was his handler, and they were a great team!!!

On May 9, 2008, Sal (UKC CH Laketower Laff in the Dark, RN, CGC, TDI) was Winners Bitch and Best of Winners for a five point major under Judge Dorothy Macdonald!!! Her sire, Flash (AM & CAN CH Jangio's Lightning Bug, RN, CGC), was given a Judges Award of Merit!! Grace (CH Laketower Light the Way Grace, WC) and Tristan (CH Sunbeach Comet to Laketower) made the first cut!!

On May 11, 2008, Sal (UKC CH Laketower Laff In The Dark, RN, CGC, TDI) was WB/BOS for two points at the Lancaster Kennel Club Show, under Judge Charlotte Clem McGowan. Congratulations again to Sue and Sal!!

On May 17 & 18, 2008, Sal (UKC CH Laketower Laff in the Dark, RN, CGC, TDI) earned her championship at an International All Breed Association Show in Washington, PA! She received V-1 (excellent) ratings from all four of her judges. She also earned two bronzes (3rd in group), one silver (2nd in group), and one gold (1st in group)!! Way to go, Sal!!!! Congratulations to her owner, Sue Davis!!!!

On May 26, 2008, Sal (Int'l & UKC CH Laketower Laff In The Dark, RN, CGC, TDI) finished her AKC championship by going WB/BOS for a three point major under Judge Sharon Lyons. Sal finished with two five point majors, and one three point major. Congratulations to Sal and her owner, Sue Davis!!
Even though she doesn't live here any more, AM & CAN CH Cobbossee's Blitzkrieg Bop (Mona/Mylah) was given a Group 1 and Reserve Best in Show at a show in Nova Scotia, Canada on June 7, 2008. Congratulations to Mylah and her owner, Karen Lewis!!!

On June 8, 2008, our "granddaughter" Mylah (AM & CAN CH Cobbossee's Blitzkrieg Bop) went Best in Show at the South Shore KC Show in Lurenburg, Nova Scotia. The Best in Show judge was Guy Jeavons! Congratulations to her owner, Karen Lewis!!!!!

On September 20, 2009, Mylah (AM & BIS CAN CH Cobbossee's Blitzkrieg Bop), earned her Canadian Working Certificate (WC) at a hunt test in Nova Scotia! Congratulations to Karen Lewis & Mylah!
On October 18, 2008, at the Thronateeska KC Show in Albany, GA, Pick (SHR CH Blacbarcs Draft Pick, WCX, JH, RN, CGC) earned this CD with a first place in Novice B. Congratulations to his owner/co-breeder, Mary Veitch!!!
