This repeat litter was planned; not a mistake!!! Since I never kept a girl from Lucy, I wanted to try one more time for the female Lucy puppy of my dreams. Instead, Lucy had a uteran infection, which killed three of the seven puppies that were born. My puppy list was quite extensive for girls, and I did not want to disappoint, so each puppy in this litter went to a family. (I hope I can get a Lucy look-a-like some day from Pepper). Even though this litter had a rough start, with me raising them by tube feeding, bottle feeding, etc., they were really strong, beautiful puppies.
